Privacy Policy

For the game Love in the Tower. Last updated: 25 May 2026.

The short version

Love in the Tower does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you do in the game stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no tracking of any kind.

What the game stores on your device

The game keeps a single local save file (a SQLite database) in its sandboxed app-data directory. This file contains your run progress, relationship state, unlocks, and settings. It never leaves your device, and the game does not read or write to any storage outside its own sandbox.

What the game does not do

Permissions the game uses

Distribution platforms

The game is distributed through the Google Play Store (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS). Those platforms have their own privacy practices for handling app downloads, payments (where applicable), and crash reports surfaced to developers. We do not receive any personally identifiable information from those platforms about you. Refer to Google’s and Apple’s respective privacy policies for details about how they handle your interactions with their stores.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone. (In practical terms there is nothing to collect, from anyone, of any age.)

Deleting your data

Because all data lives on your device, you can delete everything at any time by clearing the app’s data through your operating system settings, or by uninstalling the app. There is no server-side data to request deletion of.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top will change with it. Material changes that affect what data the game collects or transmits will be called out in the game’s release notes.
